Indigenous representation of logo and explanation of meaning by From the Heart WA volunteer and artist Amanda O’Connor.

Mandy with Indigenous logoThe hands represent the community and the dots symbolise the people in the community. The dots are all different shapes and sizes as they are all unique in their own way.

The little hands – in the middle the dots symbolise the women who are strong enough and walk their journey – most of the time these women are not alone – but the help comes from the female relatives.

The big hands – in the middle the dots symbolise women who need support, guidance and nurturing to walk their journey. The two lines side by side represent the women and FTHWA walking the journey together.
