HistoryThe support group was formed in 1997 by a group of women committed to helping other mums get through and overcome postnatal depression. We have recently produced Edition 3 of Write from the Heart, the first two editions of which were produced by SHE for PND Inc. These booklets have information about perinatal depression and personal stories of West Australian women recovering from post natal depression. In 2010 we had a makeover, and changed our name from the Post Natal Depression Support Association (PNDSA) to From the Heart WA. We did this to make sure the organisation stays relevant by broadening our scope to include other conditions related to perinatal mental health, as well as providing a name that encompassed the consumer nature of the group. From the Heart WA is an essential part of the fabric supporting women and families in Western Australia with perinatal depression. Also see our past achievements. We need a new homeFrom the Heart WA is on the move!!!Our not for profit organisation working in the health sector is about to lose it's home in Subiaco as space is to be absorbed for leasor's business. Our current arrangement has been free of rental and overheads, although we are responsible for insurance and are looking for a similar situation. The organisation has all infrastructure required and 3 part-time employees. We desperately seek an office space of approximately 50sqm and storage for resources in a central Perth location, for up to 3 years. If you have office space available please contact Tracey Parker on Mob: 0427 615 858 to discuss further. Launch Of New Identity
